USUA Umpire Ejection Protocols

When we eject a player, coach, or fan it can have big effects on the game and the umpires. There are certainly times when an IMMEDIATE EJECTION is in order, BUT USUA ejection policy is as follows:

  1. Verbal Warning (notate on the form).
  2. Written Warning to player/s & Coach/es are restricted to the dugout -Written Warning to Fans; are to relocate to the outfield fence (notate on the form).
  3. EJECTION - this happens without any further warnings... If the individual/s continue after the written warning is given (again notate).
  4. Fill out the form below, call Mitch Wanlass, Ryan Larsen or the board member rep.  to describe the incident immediately after the game.

If threats are made stop the game request someone in charge of the fields call the police/ if they won't you do!
